Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Clinical Services Manager to have overall operational management responsibility for the day-to-day service delivery of MRI, DEXA, and the Fluoroscopy services at Heath Lodge Clinic.

This role will help Heath Lodge Clinic deliver a safe, high-quality, cost-effective radiographic service with the focus on patient needs. You will look to optimise the procedures in place to improve both the patient experience of the service and to manage capacity.

In addition to extensive experience in radiology and previous supervisory/management experience you will need to demonstrate professionalism and an ability to lead by example.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering a quality service.

The following qualifications are essential:
• HCPC registration
• Bachelor’s Degree (or DCR) in Radiography.
• Postgraduate nursing qualification

The role is full time (37.5 hours average per week) worked on a variable shift pattern between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday. There will also be some occasional Saturdays as necessary. Flexibility will be required.

Key Accountabilities include:
• To provide professional leadership and ensure efficiency in the day-to-day running of the radiographic team across imaging
• To facilitate the highest clinical standards so that excellent patient care is achieved.
• To manage the induction and oversee the education and training programmes of radiographers.
• To undertake monthly 121’s, half and end of year appraisals for all direct reports, (MRI Lead & RPS)
• To be knowledgeable of ionising radiations and MRI modalities and the associated legislation.
• Responsible for the Radiation Protection and the MRI Safety Policies and procedures providing assurance that the contents capture the most recent legislation and regulations.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 through audit, monitoring and recording the required information in addition to supporting in sharing learning from investigations into incidents.
• To oversee the patient experience of the service.
• To make the best use of resources to optimise patient throughput without compromising care or quality.
• Undertaking risk assessments directly related to all areas of responsibility.
