Heath Lodge Clinic Covid update. December 2021.

The Government’s message is that COVID remains high risk even if you have been double / triple vaccinated and are asymptomatic, as you can still be a carrier and effectively transmit the virus.

If you have recently returned from overseas, you must follow the current government guidelines on self- isolation and PCR testing before booking any appointment to attend the clinic. Results must be available to our booking team via email before attending for any appointment.

As an essential service provider, Heath Lodge Clinic has remained open throughout the ongoing Pandemic.
During this time, we have continued to work within Government guidelines https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus and followed the recommendations from various professional bodies.

Since Monday 19th July 2021, in line with other health providers such as GP practices and Hospitals, we continue to ask that anyone visiting the clinic wears a face mask or covering, and uses the hand sanitisers that are located throughout the building.

Please note also that our waiting rooms remain closed to all but essential users.

As a health care provider, the safety of our patients, staff and visitors is of paramount importance.
To emphasise again that our procedures are in place to safeguard the interest of all concerned.


Please do not visit the clinic unless you are a patient and have a pre-booked appointment.


NB You will be required to wear face mask/covering unless you hold a valid exemption certificate, even if you have had both COVID vaccinations and booster.

Every patient will be screened at the point of booking and on arrival, to confirm that they are not presenting with any COVID symptoms.

Do not attend your appointment if you feel unwell, are displaying any of the symptoms outlined in the Government guidelines, or if you or a family member are self-isolating due to a positive COVID test, or you have been linked to someone else who has tested positive.

Patients will be subject to temperature checks on arrival into the clinic and will be asked to wear a face mask during their scan/ treatment.

Hand- sanitiser must be used by every patient when entering and leaving the clinic.

We request that you attend your appointment on your own unless otherwise necessary.

Please avoid where possible travelling to the clinic by way of public transport.

On arrival, please call the clinic on 01564 732150 to advise that you have arrived in the car park. A member of our reception team will help you through our process for coming into the clinic.

Please arrive at the clinic as close to your appointment time as possible.


Additional Information:

We adhere to enhanced cleaning standards and infection prevention, with staff following a robust cleaning programme throughout each day, which includes but is not limited to, all door handles and surface touch points.
Staff are required to wear PPE appropriate to their individual roles and responsibilities.

We have a regular programme of lateral flow testing, and all clinical staff are trained in infection prevention and control standards.

The clinic also has an independent external advisory point which carries out cross infection prevention and control audits on behalf of the business.

Similarly, the clinic environment and all of the sensitive medical equipment undergoes an additional certificated disinfectant “fogging” treatment on a weekly basis, which is carried out by an accredited specialist Company.
