DEXA Scanning

DEXA scanning uses a very low X-Ray techniques to measure bone density and is the gold standard for diagnosis of osteoporosis.

X-Ray

We have a digital X-Ray system which means that we can obtain chest X-Rays as well as X-Rays of major joints and the spine.

Ultrasound

We have a new ultrasound scanner at Heath Lodge Clinic which provides high quality imaging.

Ultrasound uses, as the name suggests, “sound” waves to generate pictures and is good for many soft-tissue techniques, such as looking at muscles and tendons, but also looking at the abdomen and pelvis including for gallstones and kidney stones.
