World Osteoporosis Day: Friday 20th October 2023.

Today, Friday 20th October 2023 is World Osteoporosis Day.

World Osteoporosis Day, is observed every year on October 20th, with the aim being to raise awareness about the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases.
Osteoporosis is a medical condition where bones lose density and become weaker.

The International Osteoporosis Foundation announced the theme for 2023 to be “Building better bones throughout life”, with the aim to educate people about osteoporosis and the impact on being diagnosed.
