Heath Lodge Clinic is a private clinic which provides a unique setting for the diagnostic service known as CMC Imaging Services Limited. We provide an easily accessible quality diagnostic scanning service offering MRI (3T and 1.5T), X-Ray, Ultrasound and DEXA scanning.
We also offer pain management clinics led by Consultants with specialist interests.

MRI Radiographer – Permanent Contract
Heath Lodge Clinic is an Independent Imaging Centre in Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands, which aims to provide a caring and supportive workplace to all employees.
We are looking to appoint an experienced MRI Radiographer. You will work alongside our existing team who pride themselves on providing a patient centric service. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in MRI radiography, demonstrate attention to detail and importantly for us, be a team player. You must have a good understanding of different scanning techniques and sequences. Applicants should also be competent in IV cannulation (ideally with SOR accreditation) and evidence current practice through CPD/mandatory training.
The clinic is well recognised for our patient centric approach, and any successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate an empathetic approach when dealing with our patients. We also pride ourselves on being able to support many severely claustrophobic patients who have completed their MRI scans with us when they have been unable to do so elsewhere.
Our clinical service provision includes an MRI unit comprising two state of the art 3T scanners, and an additional 1.5T Siemens Espree scanner, which is particularly suited to the needs of claustrophobic patients. We also provide X-Ray, Dexa, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy, as part of our Pain Management service.
The role is ideally full time (10-hour shifts, 37.5 hours per week average), and the clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6.30pm. There is no routine On Call or out of hours service, although there may also be some occasional evening or Saturday working required. We will also consider someone looking for three 10-hour shifts per week.
Duties in the role will include performing a range of MSK, Neuro and abdominal scans. You will follow the clinic’s policies and procedures in terms of MRI safety controls to protect patients, visitors and non-MRI staff. You will support our patients throughout their attendance at the clinic.

Health Care Assistant
Are you an experienced Health Care Assistant?
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and committed individual to work effectively alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the smooth running of our service.
This will include supporting in the management of the clinic modalities under the guidance of our experienced radiographers, operating department practitioners, registered nurse, health care assistant and administrative teams.
The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) working various shifts between 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday. There may be some occasional Saturday working.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an HCA
- Excellent patient care skills
- A caring, compassionate, positive attitude with a passion for high quality care and support
- Excellent communication skills and have a flexible can-do attitude
- An ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment, with a high degree of accuracy
- A good team worker, with an ability to learn
- High level of IT and administration skills
Your Main responsibilities in this role include –
- Assisting in patient preparation for all diagnostic procedures and pain management services. Including positioning patients on scanners, trolleys and tables
- Chaperoning
- Patient administration
- Clinical stock management
- Assist in infection prevention and control management across all modalities
- Clinical audits

Reports Coordinator
Are you an experienced medical/clinical administrator or reports coordinator? We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, professional and organised individual to join in our Reports administration team.
Heath Lodge Clinic is an Independent Imaging Centre in Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands. Our MR unit comprises two state of the art 3T scanners, one recently installed in April 2024, in addition to a 1.5T Siemens Espree. We also provide cross sectional services which include X-Ray, Ultrasound, DEXA, and Fluoroscopy, with a Pain Management service for joint and spinal injections.
Your Main responsibilities in this role include –
- Ensuring all patients reports are sent to the referring clinician within a 7 working day deadline.
- Create clinician accounts on image portal (Biotronics).
- Process all FOI and SAR requests.
- Answer calls from Clinician / Reports lines promptly.
- You may also be trained to provide cover for our reception or bookings team so that the clinic can provide a seamless service.
The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) mainly working between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. There may be some occasional Saturday or later shift working required if cover is needed.
The successful candidate will have –
- Proven reporting or administrative experience in a relevant medical setting
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Great organisational skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be adaptable and use initiative to solve challenges that arise
- IT Proficient particularly in MS Word / Excel / SharePoint
