Who are we?
Heath Lodge Clinic is a private clinic which provides a unique setting for the diagnostic service known as CMC Imaging Services Limited. We provide an easily accessible quality diagnostic scanning service offering MRI (3T and 1.5T), X-Ray, Ultrasound and DEXA scanning.
We also offer pain management clinics led by Consultants with specialist interests.
We are proud to be an independent health provider and our aim is to offer a quality and caring service to all of our patients.
Where are we?
Located just three hundred meters from junction 5 of the M42 motorway (which is then linked to other major motorway networks), we offer patient focused service to patients from across the West Midlands and beyond.
We have a large car park located in front of the building offering our patients convenient access to the clinic, this is free of charge. We also have some allocated spaces for blue badge holders.
Our central location is convenient for patients travelling from across the UK. Heath Lodge Clinic is also conveniently located a short distance from Birmingham International Airport and has excellent rail links.

We take pride in our collaborative approach — working closely with referring clinicians and using the latest imaging technology to ensure accurate results and informed decision-making. Our team is not only clinically skilled but also focused on making your experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Radiology Team
Our Radiology team is led by Dr David Beale, Consultant Radiologist who founded CMC Imaging over twenty years ago, and established Heath Lodge Clinic in 2009.
Dr Beale is supported by a team of Radiographers and Radiologists who each have their own area of specific clinical specialities, including neurology, ENT, MSK, prostate, gynaecology and cancer staging.
Administration Team
Our staff are the key to our success, and they are fully supported by a comprehensive in-house induction and ongoing training programme. They are trained to help patients throughout their booking process to enable our patients to have a positive experience throughout their patient journey.
Our Consultant Colleagues
All of our Consultants, including Sports and Exercise Medicine Physicians, Pain Management specialists and Musculoskeletal Consultants have rapid access to our full imaging centre. We are therefore able to provide a comprehensive rehabilitation programme to enable all sports people- from amateur through to professional level to be able to resume their sports training and activities.
