Referrer Information
Referring a Patient to Heath Lodge
Appointments for your patients are generally available within a few days, clinically urgent referrals can usually be accommodated on the day subject to scanner availability and pre-existing commitments.
We endeavour have a turnaround for a patient report back to their referrer within 7 working days. Please provide a contact telephone number so that we can get in touch regarding any clinically urgent findings.
We are recognised/ accredited by the major insurance companies and also welcome patients wishing to fund their treatment and scans. Please note that it is the responsibility of the patient to have obtained pre-authorisation from their insurance company before attending their appointment.
NHS Referrals
We have excellent links and working relationships with various NHS Hospital Trusts and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), both locally within the West Midlands area and also across the UK.
We have the required I.T Infrastructure in place to be able to successfully process NHS patients in-line with NHS requirements regarding I.T patient confidentiality.

Results Turnaround Time

Heath Lodge Clinic accepts referrals from hospital consultants, GPs, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors.
NB: if you have a clinically urgent referral please call to discuss this directly and we will endeavour to scan your patient on the same day, and call you with the result.
Routine patient reports are usually returned within 7 working days.
